The cap-strapped Falcons have many needs, but at least they addressed an edge rusher in free agency, adding Dante Fowler. He is 25 and on his third team. Hopefully, the Atlanta nightlife won’t get to Fowler. But they lost tight end Austin Hooper (second in targets, second in catches), leading rusher Devonta Freeman, and dumped their best cornerback, Desmond Trufant. This smells like a trade down spot to snag a RB or TE — or in a division with Drew Brees and Tom Brady, you need to take a cornerback.
