Learning Lambs Schools located at No5, Chief Matones Way, University View Estate, Opposite Lagos Business School, Lekki, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos is recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities and Duties
- Planning lessons that teach specific subjects, such as math, science, and English
- Teaching lessons in whole-group or small-group configurations
- Assessing and evaluating student’s abilities, strengths, and weaknesses
- Preparing students for standardized tests
- Communicating student progress to parents
- Developing and enforcing classroom rules
- Supervising children in extracurricular activities (such as lunch, playground)
- Conducting in-class activities
- Planning field trips
Skills and Qualifications
- Respect for children and an interest in helping them develop both academically and as people
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, other teachers and parents
- Good listening skills and capacity to learn quickly
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to inspire and enthuse children, energy, resourcefulness, responsibility and patience
- A caring nature and an understanding of the needs and feelings of children
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Minimum of a certification in education, previous experience will be an added advantage.
