Vikings’ secondary gets a boost with return of Mike Hughes
Just a few weeks after trading a fifth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for Vedvik, a kicker and punter, the Vikings are already using words like “unacceptable” to describe the new guy’s performance. Vedvik, 25, whiffed on both his field-goal tries in a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, missing wide left from 43 yards out and wide right from 54 yards out.
