Ampersand Digital Microfinance Bank is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Finance and Risk Management Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Responsibilities
Head of Finance responsibilities shall include:

Creating forecasting models,
Assessing risk in investments and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams.
Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
Approve or reject budgets
Conduct risk management
Evaluate and decide on investments

Requirements

A minimum of first Degree in Accounting (additional qualification or professional certification in accounting is an added advantage).
Candidate should have 10 years post qualification experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership and supervisory role.
The ideal candidate shall supervise all financial accounting and risk management tasks and ensure efficient use of capital and financial assets.

Expected skills and Competencies:

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, problem solving and critical reasoning skills and have a firm grasp of regulatory and compliance issues surrounding financial institutions and Microfinance Banks specifically.
In addition, must be able to provide guidance for the entire staff and create a proactive risk awareness culture.
