JOF Nigeria Limited is an Integrated Logistics Services Provider with subsidiaries in properties and investments portfolios. It was founded in 1993 by Segun Olugboyegun, and has its roots in the businesses started by its progenitor; late Rev. (Dr) Canon J. O. Fagboyegun in 1951, who was in produce of cocoa, palm kernel and coffee.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Lagos
Overview of Position
- The Sales Manager will manage leads and be responsible for customer service and satisfaction, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing business, determining pricing and terms, paperwork, and sales guideline interpretation.
- He will also be saddled with the responsibility of setting sales function channels.
Job Summary
- The Sales Manager will have successful sales experience, preferably in the FMCG, and will demonstrate success in growing revenue through new business.
- He/She will also need to demonstrate a flexible approach to sales, using different techniques as required.
Key skill sets and responsibilities for this role are:-
- Working to predetermined targets to sell the products.
- Conduct on-going sales activity and be able to aggressively sell products as well as understand the consultative sales process.
- Responsible for finding and developing new business as well as handling and growing existing business. Sourcing and closing new business is essential.
- Analyse and canvass competitive strategies.
- Driving the sales process and sales strategy.
- Analyse the market and identify opportunities for potential clients/consumer as well as show strategy and development.
- Develop ways to increase revenue through new sales activity through competitive sales strategy and overall new business generation.
- Regularly feed financial information to the Line Manager.
- Success will be measured on weekly activity levels ie. calls per week, sales against target and new business leads per week.
Performance Standards:
- This will be measured and appraised on achievement of revenue targets, profitability, quality of deliverables and sales process activity levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Proven record of over achieving sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and rapport building skills
- Good business acumen and awareness of macro environment
- Resilient, determined and able to work under pressure
- Target focussed and money driven
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Passionate customer focused attitude
