Osun State University, Osogbo – Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the underlisted Non-teaching staff position below:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer – CONUNASS 13

Location: Osun

Duties

Shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor in the day-to-day performance of his duties to ensure security of life and property on all the Campuses of the University
Shall provide required leadership to all Security Officers and Security Providers on all the Campuses of the University
Shall advise and alert management in security situations in the University
Shall liaise with other Security Agencies in the State with a view to providing security for the University Community; and
Shall undertake any other assignments from the Vice-Chancellor that will bring about adequate security for the University.

Qualifications and Experience

Possession of a good First Degree in relevant discipline obtained from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or Higher National Diploma (HND), with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant discipline with fifteen (15) years cognate experience
Qualified retired Officer of the Nigerian Military, Police, Department of State Security Services and other allied Security Agencies with equivalent professional qualifications may be considered and offered renewable contract appointment.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in ICT.
