Job Title: Assistant Preschool Administrator

Job Description
- Our child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care Worker who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to three years

Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in creating study plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
- Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all the interactive areas sanitary and safe
- Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
- Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
- Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during lunch time
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
- Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests
- Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
- Write articles, manuals, and other publications, and assist in the distribution of promotional literature about programs and facilities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Social Sciences.
- Certification in Childcare and First Aid will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in related position
- Caring and compassionate attitude necessary.
