Job Title: Direct Sales Person (Chemicals/Lubricants)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Reporting Line: Marketing/Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Participates/leads in driving sales & marketing of company’s chemicals to ensure popularization of the products to members of the public
  • Plans and drives all product promotions strategy of the company
  • Participating in developing and growing a team that fosters innovation and creativity.
  • Monitors and reports goals and insights to clients through email, phone calls, and face-to face meetings
  • Interacts daily with clients following the organization’s customer service standards
  • Work closely with product teams to help drive the near and long term product road-map Works collaboratively across departments to ensure the implementation of integrated strategies
  • Provides supports to the leadership for the team to come up with new marketing strategies for the Chemicals/Lubricants
  • Creates product positioning and messaging for online and digital marketing products, services, and solutions where applicable
  • Supports in building the strategy and drives for the execution of product launches and partnerships, including pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Assists in training and supporting sales team and channel partners to articulate product positioning and their advantages
  • Partners with the organization’s corporate marketing team to launch content campaigns designed to drive and measure leads and increase brand awareness
  • Provides support in the execution of effective lead generation programs via new businesses and customer-focused field-marketing events, trade shows, PR and online advertising
  • Helping to turn key customers into references by establishing and developing relationships with them.
  • Co-ordinates and handles all sales and marketing feedback
  • Supports in handling dealer’s distributor network.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned to the position.

Academic Qualification

  • B.Sc./HND Engineering & other related field.

Person’s Specification

  • Sales person-Chemicals should have in-depth knowledge and experience in the sales of Chemicals such as methanol, TEG e.t.c.
  • He/She should be capable of thinking on their feet to drive sales.
  • Must have worked or be working in a company that deals/sales Chemicals/Lubricants.

Remuneration

  • Industry Standards, plus commission on sales.
