Job Title: Medical Devices and Sales Key Account Manager

Location: Abuja, Nigeria.

Job Summary

  • IQVIA is looking for an effective Key Account Manager with proven results and a drive to succeed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete a segmentation and targeting exercise of key accounts with the largest potential and actual contribution to the IQVIA portfolio sales.
  • Develop a clear stakeholder management action plan on how to penetrate, grow or defend market share in targeted key accounts.
  • Achieve portfolio sales, growth and increase IQVIA brands’ market share.
  • Generate demand and obtain orders from key customers, while liaising with in-market wholesaler/distributor to ensure order supply.
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential key accounts.
  • Provide input (weekly or monthly) on inventory levels and inventory management in the market, to avoid low and out of stock situations.
  • Deliver value added information on the IQVIA portfolio offering through detailing, product differentiation and planning in-service training as needed by key accounts/customers.
  • Monitor competitor activity by gathering market information on pricing, products, new products, in-market activities, sponsorships etc. whilst being fully compliant with all relevant laws including competition laws and regulatory/voluntary codes of practice and relay information to IQVIA Commercial Manager by way of formal reports:
  • Keep IQVIA management informed by submitting monthly activity and results reports, as well as a quarterly territory progress analyses, with remedial actions where sales performance is sub-optimal.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Pharmacovigilance monitoring and reporting to IQVIA.

Requirements

  • 3 Years’ Experience as a Key Account Manger in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Sound knowledge of medical devices
