Saint Louis falters in second half, losing 66-57 to St. Bonaventure

SAINT BONAVENTURE, N.Y.  — Courtney Stockard scored 20 points and had seven assists, Amadi Ikpeze‘s left-handed hook in the low post was the go-ahead and St. Bonaventure rallied in the second half to defeat Saint Louis 66-57 on Saturday, locking up fourth place in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Kyle Lofton added 14 points and LaDarien Griffin 10 for the Bonnies (16-15, 12-6). Loften was 8 of 12 at the free throw line and Stockard 8 of 12 as St. Bonaventure took advantage of 21 Saint Louis fouls to score 20 points at the line. The Bonnies also scored 15 points off 13 Saint Louis turnovers

Tramaine Isabell Jr. scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Billikens (19-12, 10-8), who out-rebounded Saint Bonaventure 41-33.

Hasahn French scored 14 points but Saint Louis shot 39 percent from the floor, 21 of 62 and was outscored 44-30 after halftime.
