People Capacity Management – Our client is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of bank instructions
- Managing petty cash
- Review of supplier invoices received
- Ensure customer bills are dispatched promptly
- Follow up with customers on payment
- Liaising with Account Manager on the position of the company account
- Responsible for lodging cheques with the bank
- Maintain General ledger
- Accuracy of transactions posted must be checked
- Daily update of bank transaction
- Carry out bank reconciliation
- Ensure remittance of statutory taxes, such as VAT, WHT, PAYEE, NSITF etc
- Weekly Management report
- Updating Customer account with invoices and receivables
- Carrying out weekly vendor account reconciliation
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Job Requirements
- Accounting / Economics graduate with 1-3 years working experience
- A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
- Attention to details
- Self Starter
- Must be able to work with a team
- Must be willing to work outside the working hours
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be between 25 year-30 years.
