Job Title: Associate, Talent Management
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The role reports to the Group Head, Talent Management and will assist in managing and driving key talent management practices across the Group learning and development, succession planning, performance management, career management; Implement talent management practices and strategies to aid the achievement of the organisationТs goals
Responsibilities
- Work with the Group Head to articulate and develop talent management strategies and ensure alignment with corporate strategy, business goals and objectives
- Contribute to the design and implementation of need-based, cost-effective learning and development strategies to support the companyТs business goals and improve corporate performance
- Contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate employee reward strategies, policies and programs to enable the firm to attract and retain the best talent
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of effective performance and career management strategies that would help sustain a performance driven culture and ensure appropriate balance between individual and organisational goals
- Promote the development and sustenance of workplace culture
- Co-ordination of annual performance management activities Ц goal setting, performance appraisal and feedback etc.
- Provide information/data to support Management decision-making Ц HR Analytics
- Ensure HR policies, processes and procedures are relevant, responsive, up to date, in line with best practices, and properly understood company-wide
- Continually review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the GroupТs policies, procedures and processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Champion and oversee the implementation of improvement recommendations
- Act as a change agent on major project initiatives of the Company, by facilitating and ensuring proper planning and execution of programs to address the human side of change
Requirements
- First Degree in any discipline from an accredited university
- Minimum of seven (7) years human resource work experience within a structured organisation
- In-depth knowledge of HR matters, most especially talent management pratices
- Very good knowledge of the components and best practices in talent management (performance management, career management, learning and development, reward and recognition, retention management, succession planning etc.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, leadership, negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent Interpersonal, networking and communication skills
