We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Cafeteria Manager

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • Takes inventory and checks all supplies for quality and quantity
  • Ensures that the cafeteria follows all sanitization and health regulations and that meals nutritional standards are met.
  • Handles customer complaints and resolves issues in a timely manner
  • Schedules departmental work hours
  • Monitors food tastes and appearance and may consult with the chef and cooks to plan healthy and cost effective menus.
  • Keeps accurate and  detailed administrative records for daily, weekly or monthly reports
  • Promotes the cafeteria and the organisation’s initiatives.
  • Trains, coaches and mentors departmental staff on required areas to ensure a high level of productivity.
  • Partakes in hiring process for the Cafeteria department.

Education Requirements

  • Applicants must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Catering Management, Food Science Technology or its equivalent from a reputable Institution
  • Experience: 5-7 years as a Manager in a Restaurant, Hotel, Hospital Cafeteria or equivalent

  • Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management, and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional.

  • Must possess purposeful, self-regulatory judgment which results in interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference, as well as explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, criteriological or contextual considerations upon which that judgment is based.
