Sabonis leaves Orlando to seek medical treatment on foot

Indiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis is leaving the NBA bubble in Orlando to get medical treatment on his left foot.

Sabonis is dealing with plantar fasciitis. It is not known when he might be able to return to the NBA campus at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, where the Pacers are in the midst of scrimmages preceding the resumption of their season Aug. 1.

Sabonis, a first-time NBA All-Star this season, did not play in Thursday’s scrimmage. He is averaging 18.5 points and 12.4 rebounds per game in 62 games.
