Justin Jefferson, the 22nd overall pick of the 2020 draft, was on the list, as well as three fellow rookies — tackle Blake Brandel (sixth-rounder), safety Brian Cole II (seventh-rounder) and tackle Tyler Higby (undrafted).
The reserve/COVID-19 list was created for players who either test positive for coronavirus or who has been quarantined after being in close contact with an infected person. Teams are not permitted to comment on an individual’s medical status other than placing them on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
