More Brewers coverage
The Brewers will play two doubleheaders against St. Louis during the Cardinals’ next trip to Milwaukee — 4:10 p.m. starts on Sept. 14 and Sept. 16. The third game will take place at Busch Stadium, with the Brewers acting as the home team, Sept. 25 at 4:15 p.m.
The doubleheader games will be just seven innings long apiece, a new format MLB added for the shortened 2020 campaign.
Originally scheduled for July 31 – Aug. 2, the three-game set was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests in the Cardinals organization.
Additionally, as a result of St. Louis and Detroit playing a doubleheader Sept. 10, the Brewers’ matchup with the Tigers on Sept. 9 has been moved from a 6:10 p.m. to 12:10 p.m.
