Twins activate Odorizzi from injured list
The Minnesota Twins activated starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi off the injured list Saturday and he is expected to make his debut against Kansas City later in the day.

The Twins had an open roster spot after playing third baseman Josh Donaldson on the IL on Friday.
The 30-year-old Odorizzi pitched five innings during summer camp but suffered a right intercostal strain.
In 2019, his second year with Minnesota, Odorizzi was named an All-Star and finished with a 15-7 record, 3.51 ERA, 1.208 WHIP and a career-best 10.1 K/9.
