Royals reinstate Jesse Hahn from paternity list
The Kansas City Royals reinstated pitcher Jesse Hahn from the paternity list and designated the right-hander as the 29th man for Wednesday’s doubleheader with the Reds at Kauffman Stadium.
After being obtained from Oakland in January 2018, Hahn missed all of the 2018 major league season and most of last season recovering from elbow problems that required Tommy John surgery.
The Royals indicated that an additional move would be announced following Game 1 to clear a roster spot for Game 2 starting pitcher Matt Harvey.
