Matheny: ‘This is a tough one’ after loss to Cardinals

Mike Matheny on pulling Trevor Rosenthal in the ninth: “I went out when we got to (his pitch count) and left it in his hands. He still felt pretty good but he was hitting the wall. We got to a number that just didn’t feel safe anymore. It’s a shame.”
