Packers put LB Kirksey, WR Lazard on injured reserve
The Green Bay Packers on Saturday put starters linebacker Christian Kirksey and wide receiver Allen Lazard on injured reserve. Both will have to miss at least three games before they can be activated.
The Packers play Atlanta on Monday night then have a bye week — Kirksey and Lazard will have to miss two other games besides the one vs. the Falcons, meaning neither can rejoin the team until at least Week 8.

Kirksey injured his shoulder in last Sunday night’s win over New Orleans. Signed as a free agent in the offseason from Cleveland, Kirksey had 25 tackles in three games. He was replaced by Ty Summers, who is expected to start Monday, in the Saints game.
Lazard suffered a core muscle injury and is likely to be out at least six weeks. In three games, Lazard had 13 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Against the Saints, with Davante Adams sidelined, he recorded 146 yards on six catches with a TD.
Kirksey and Lazard had both been listed as out by the Packers shortly before being placed on IR.
Tight end Marcedes Lewis is listed as doubtful against Atlanta.
Green Bay listed a number of players as questionable, including Adams and Kenny Clark, for Monday night’s contest.
