Day of deals: Blues sign Santini, McKenzie, Anas to two-way contracts
ST. LOUIS – The Blues kept the contracts coming on Saturday.
The St. Louis Blues signed three players, Steve Santini, Curtis McKenzie and Sam Anas, to two-way deals.
St. Louis signed 25-year-old defenseman Santini to a one-year, two-way contract.
Santini has played a total of 116 NHL games in his time with the New Jersey Devils and Nashville Predators. He has scored five goals and tallied 16 assists in his career. New Jersey selected him as the 42nd overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.
McKenzie also signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues.
The forward has played in 99 NHL games in the last four years with the Dallas Stars. The 29-year-old has scored 10 goals and recorded 13 assists in his career since being selected by the Stars in the 6th round of the 2009 NHL Draft.
The Blues’ third signing of the day was a two-year, two-way contract with Anas.
The 27-year-old forward has played the last four seasons with Minnesota’s AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild. He led the AHL in scoring in the 2019-2020 season with 70 points and 20 goals.
