Vikings’ Dantzler activated from COVID-19 list
Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and is slated to play against the Green Bay Packers.
Dantzler was on the COVID-19 list for three days and comes back for the Vikings at the right time since the team was thin at cornerback. Holton Hill has been ruled out for the third straight game with a foot injury and Mike Hughes is on injured reserve with a neck injury.
More Vikings coverage
Dantzler is not the only Viking who will come back this week. Linebacker Troy Dye, a fourth-round pick out of Oregon, has been activated from injured reserve.
Cornerback Chris Jones has been activated from exemption and center Brett Jones has been activated to the roster via COVID-19 replacement. Brett Jones will replace Minnesota linebacker Todd Davis, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
Luther Kirk and Hercules Mata’afa have also been moved up from the practice squad and will be on the active roster against Green Bay.
Wide receiver Dan Chisena, who was listed as questionable with a hip injury, has been ruled out.
