Legendary state championship games return to FOX Sports Florida with four Florida high school football classics
MIAMI (Nov. 2, 2020) – FOX Sports Florida, the statewide television home for Florida sports, announced plans to replay four legendary high school football state championship games on Tuesday nights throughout the month of November. Beginning tomorrow, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., football fans across the state can tune in to watch Lakeland’s 45-42 double overtime victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas in the 2006 5A title game at Pro Player Stadium.
Lakeland, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Miami Northwestern, Sanford Seminole and Tampa Plant will all be featured in classic replays featuring famous alumni including Teddy Bridgewater, Ahmad Black, Chris Rainey, the Pouncey twins, Leonard Hankerson, Wesley Carroll, Duron Carter, Andre Debose, Phillip Dorsett, James White, Giovanni Bernard, Major Wright, Marcus Roberson, Phillip Ely, James Wilder Jr. and more.
Every Florida High School Football Classic game airing on FOX Sports Florida is also available on FOX Sports GO, the live streaming platform that showcases all of the Sinclair Regional Sports Networks’ events and studio programming through pay-TV providers, and FOXSportsGO.com.
