Big Ten releases 2020-21 schedule for Badgers men’s basketball

It took a while but we have a Wisconsin Badgers 2020-21 basketball schedule.

A few non-conference games had already been known and on Wednesday the Big Ten released its conference schedule.

More Badgers coverage

Wisconsin’s Big Ten season will begin Dec. 21 vs. Nebraska and end March 7 at Iowa. The Badgers play seven conference opponents both home and way – Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern and Penn State.

The Badgers have games both on Christmas (at Michigan State) and New Year’s Eve (vs. Minnesota).

All Big Ten game times are to be announced at a later date.

The Badgers currently have six non-conference games on their schedule, beginning with a home game against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 25, although Greg Gard said in a statement released by the team that Wisconsin is “still looking to add one additional home opponent in the month of December.”

Wisconsin is the reigning Big Ten champions and are ranked No. 7 in the Associated Press preseason top 25.
