‘Tampa Bay Lightning Recharge: Winning the Cup’ premieres Friday night on FOX Sports Sun
TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2020) – FOX Sports Sun, the television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, announced plans to bring the team’s all-access, online series “Recharge” to TV with a full evening of exciting episodes set to air Friday, Dec. 4. “Recharge,” a cinematic recap of team-produced shorts, debuted last year across the Lightning’s digital platforms.
Bolts fans statewide are invited to tune in Friday starting at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports Sun to watch three episodes filled with behind-the-scenes content from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The episodes will serve as a captivating lead in to the premiere of “Recharge: Winning the Cup,” a special 90-minute lookback at the Stanley Cup Final featuring watch-back commentary with Lightning teammates Victor Hedman, Ondřej Palát and Ryan McDonagh alongside host Paul Kennedy. Viewers will watch the trio share insight and analysis surrounding everything that happened on and off the ice during the fateful finale. “Recharge: Winning the Cup” also features never-before-seen footage from the Stanley Cup Champion Boat Parade and Stadium Celebration.
Every “Recharge” episode airing on FOX Sports Sun will also be made available on FOX Sports GO, the live streaming platform that showcases all of the Sinclair Regional Sports Networks’ events and studio programming through pay-TV providers, and FOXSportsGO.com. “Recharge” episodes will re-air on FOX Sports Sun throughout the month December.
