Abducted Chinese Expatriate Regains Freedom In Ekiti
A Chinese expatriate who was abducted in Ekiti State last week has regained his freedom.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Sunday Abutu, confirmed to Channels Television that the victim was released on Tuesday night after a serious manhunt and pressure from police operatives.

According to the police, the expatriate was released close to a town in Ekiti South West Local Government while maintaining that security agents are still intensifying intelligence activities to get the abductors arrested.
Mr Abutu denied knowledge of the payment of N100 million as ransom.
