Job Description
The Solution Assessment Specialist’s (SAS) primary role is to support the AE/ Specialist / Technical Specialist with driving Solution Assessments thru partners that leads to positive CPE, Cloud revenue and new customer adds. This will be accomplished by performing the following:
- Participate with the AE during the Portfolio Planning
- Deliver the right Solution Assessment to align with Customer needs and the Solution Area Sales Plays
- Recommend Solution Assessment Partner and coordinate handoff to migration Partner
- Allocate 1st or 3rd Party discovery tool (e.g. Movere, Cloudamize, etc.) and orchestrate funding
- Align analysis to the Customers desired outcome and Cloud journey incorporating cloud economics
- Ensure Solution Assessment includes deployment path or P2P orchestration with a migration partner
Responsibilities
- Oversee Solution Assessment Partner engagements to ensure positive CPE
- New Customer Adds across 3 Clouds (O365, D365, ACA)
- CBI metrics focused on partner activation, onboarding strategic partners (i.e. Azure Expert MSPs) and driving Solution Assessments at scale
- Identify and address opportunities for improving usage and adoption
- (Cloud) revenue growth
- Build a culture of partner first and drive completed assessment wins through partners.
- Invest in growing your technical and professional skills
- Ensure the goal is the outcome of the assessment, the final assessment report must include business case and TCO analysis that drives cloud migrations & modernizations
- Work with the Account Executive on targeted customer sales pitch.
- Work with the specialist per solution areas and partner development teams
- Work with local and global solution assessement partners to drive activities/outcomes.
- Proactive accountability to identify and own assessment opportunities/ campaigns through integration with field sales and marketing motion
- SMC-C: Pod integration & own Solution Assessment Daily Recommender recommendations and pursue completion of recommendations owned by AE/ Specialist / CE
- Enterprise: 100% Territory Planning alignment in account selection
- Top Unmanaged (SMB): Drive cloud assessment and migration support at scale
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree will be preferable
- 5+ years of working experience.
- Should have some technology sales experience.
- C- Suite Level engagement.
- Strong business acumen on our cloud stack
- Ability to share our Digital Transformation story and engage with CXO, BDMs to help them drive business transformation
- Knowledge of competitive offerings
- Prospecting (identify new opportunities that drive cloud adoption)
- Listening and communication skills
- Ability to orchestrate key resources to drive the opportunity forward
- High-level understanding of partner ecosystem and solutions available in the market
- Consultative selling with a Hunting spirit, results orientated and self-learning
- Operational excellence in Partner and Customer engagement management
- Executive stakeholder management across customers and partners
- In-depth Microsoft Solution Assessment, discovery tool, with cloud economics expertise and ability to simplify complexity to audiences of different levels
