Gophers beat Michigan 3-1 to remain unbeaten
Ben Meyers had a goal and two assists as the Minnesota Gophers beat No. 5 Michigan 3-1 to remain undefeated on the season.

The Gophers struck first in the second period on the power play. Meyers made a pass to Jaxon Nelson for a one-timer and Sampo Ranta knocked home the rebound to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead.
With just over two minutes left in the second, Bryce Brodzinski tallied his first goal of the season off a feed from Meyers to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead.
The Gophers extended their lead to 3-0 when Meyers recorded his third point of the night with a goal.
Michigan answered minutes later to cut the lead to 3-1, but the Gophers closed the door to move to 7-0.
Jack LaFontaine made 33 saves in net for Minnesota.
