Badgers’ Ferguson, Van Lanen named to All-Big Ten first team
Wisconsin’s offense has had its struggles in 2020, but a few members of the Badgers offense were honored by the Big Ten on Tuesday.
Junior tight end Jake Ferguson, who has 26 receptions for 249 yards and four touchdowns this season, was named first-team All-Big Ten by the media and second team by the coaches.

Senior left tackle Cole Van Lanen was tabbed first-team All-Big Ten by the coaches – one of three tackles named to the first team – and second team by the media.
Junior right guard Logan Bruss was a consensus third-team selection.
In addition, right tackle Tyler Beach and fullback Mason Stokke were honorable mention All-Big Ten as named by the coaches. No Badgers were tabbed honorable mention by the media.
The conference’s defensive awards will be revealed Wednesday and special teams awards Thursday.
Wisconsin plays Minnesota on Saturday at 3 p.m. during the Big Ten’s “championship week.”
