SLU’s A-10 opener tonight is postponed due to COVID-19 results

Saint Louis University will have to wait to launch its Atlantic 10 men’s basketball season.

The Billikens announced Wednesday morning that SLU has paused all team activities because of positive COVID-19 test results within the program. As a result, Wednesday night’s A-10 opener against Duquesne has been postponed.

The Atlantic 10 Conference will announce all changes to the Billikens’ upcoming A-10 schedule, including Saturday’s scheduled matchup with UMass at Chaifetz Arena.

The positive results came from tests administered Monday. Program activities will resume only after all personnel are cleared via the extensive SLU campus COVID-19 testing protocols.

The Billikens are 7-1.
