FOX Sports Florida announces Florida Panthers TV schedule for 2020-21 season

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2021) – FOX Sports Florida, the television home of the Florida Panthers, announced today the network will produce and televise 55 regular season Panthers games as part of the 2020-21 National Hockey League season.

Opening night coverage begins live from The BB&T Center on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. with a special one-hour edition of the “Panthers Live” pregame show. The pregame show will lead right up to puck drop at 7 p.m. when the Panthers open the season vs. the visiting the Dallas Stars. All home broadcasts throughout the season will feature half-hour “Panthers Live” pregame shows along with extended postgame coverage from site.

Play-by-play announcer Steve “Goldie” Goldstein returns alongside color analyst Randy Moller to provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the season. This season marks two years together in the broadcast booth for the Goldstein-Moller pairing. “Panthers Live” hosts Craig Minervini and Jessica Blaylock will be joined once again by a pair of familiar blueliners. Former Panthers captain Ed Jovanovski and former NHL defenseman Jeff Chychrun return for their second season as pregame, postgame and intermission analysts. Katie Gaus rounds out the broadcast team in her second season as in-game reporter for select games.

The FOX Sports Studio in Fort Lauderdale will serve as FOX Sports Florida’s remote broadcast hub for road games with Goldstein and Moller calling away games remotely throughout the season.

The popular “Inside the Panthers” series returns and will feature player profiles and episodes offering behind-the-scenes access to other aspects of the team and its operations — all designed to bring the fans closer to their favorite team. This season’s premiere episode, “Inside the Panthers: Winning the Right Way,” will spotlight new General Manager Bill Zito and debut on opening night following the “Panthers Live” postgame show on. Of the Panthers complete 56-game schedule, FOX Sports Florida will not air one game due to national television exclusivity.
