Rowe stops 45 shots as Badgers beat Penn State 4-1
The Wisconsin Badgers capitalized on the man advantage, scoring two power play goals in a 4-1 win over Penn State at Pegula Ice Arena on Thursday.

Cameron Rowe was stellar in goal, stopping 45 of 46 shots to help Wisconsin beat the Nittany Lions for the third time this season.
The Badgers struck first as Ty Pelton-Byce scored on the power play at 13:07 of the first period. Mathieu De St. Phalle doubled the Badgers’ lead at 16:58 in the first with his first collegiate goal.
Penn State’s Kevin Wall beat Rowe at the one-minute mark of the second period to make it a one-goal game.
The Badgers went back on the power play late in the third period as Cole Caufield buried the puck over the shoulder of Penn State’s goaltender at 14:11 in the third.
Dominick Mersch scored Wisconsin’s fourth goal of the game, taking advantage of Penn State’s empty net.
