NHL postpones Blues’ Feb. 9 matchup with Wild

ST. LOUIS —  For the second time this season, a St. Louis Blues game has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, and as was the case when the Blues’ Jan. 28 matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights was called off, it’s due to COVID issues within the opposing organization.

The NHL announced that Minnesota Wild games will be postponed through at least Tuesday, Feb. 9 after five Wild players entered the NHL’s COVID protocol on Wednesday. Those five followed forward Marcus Foligno, who was added to the COVID list earlier this week.

The Blues were scheduled to travel to Minnesota next week for a two-game series on Feb. 9 and 11, but due to the Wild’s COVID outbreak, the Feb. 9 game has been postponed.
