Big Ten announces changes for Gophers 2021 football schedule
The Minnesota Gophers 2021 schedule is officially set.

The Big Ten conference released schedules for all 14 football programs Friday with a couple of tweaks from the original slate of games. For Minnesota, no opponents or locations changed, but a few games did move up and down the calendar.
The most notable change on Minnesota’s schedule was the rivalry game against Wisconsin moved from Oct. 9 to Nov. 27, the regular season finale.
Games against Maryland and Northwestern were flip-flopped, now scheduled for Oct. 23 and Oct. 30. A matchup vs. Nebraska was moved up from Nov. 26 to Oct. 16.
Minnesota will open the 2021 campaign Sept. 2 against Ohio State, which lost 29-23 to Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff semifinals.
The Gophers non-conference opponents remain Miami (Ohio), Colorado and Bowling Green.
