Torry Holt once again snubbed for Pro Football Hall of Fame induction
The waiting game for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for former St. Louis Rams star Torry Holt will last at least another year.
Holt was one of 15 modern-era finalists in 2021. Of the 15, only five were selected. Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson and Charles Woodson headlined the star-studded, modern-era ballot this year.
One of the key cogs of the “Greatest Show on Turf,” Holt was a seven-time Pro Bowler and spent a decade in St. Louis. He caught 920 passes for 13,382 yards and 74 touchdowns over his 11-year career.
Holt has been eligible for the Hall of Fame since 2015 and was named a semifinalist seven times. This year was the second time he was named a finalist for a potential Canton induction.
