Pacers announce resignation of assistant coach Bill Bayno
Indiana Pacers assistant coach Bill Bayno has resigned for personal and health reasons, the team announced Monday evening.
Bayno, 58, was the only member of Nate McMillan’s staff to be retained when new head coach Nate Bjorkgren was hired prior to the 2020-21 season. He’d been with the Pacers since 2016.
“I appreciate the impact Coach Bayno has had on our players and the Pacers organization over the last five years,” said Pacers head coach Nate Bjorkgren. “All of us at the Pacers wish him the very best as he transitions to his next chapter.”
