Royals announce game times for 2021 regular-season schedule

The Kansas City Royals will open the 2021 regular season at home against the Texas Rangers at 3:10 p.m. on April 1, the team announced Thursday, when game times for all 30 major league teams were revealed.

Every team is scheduled to play April 1, the first time since 1968 that each team opens the same day. The series against Texas will continue with games April 3 and 4, both at 1:10 p.m. The regular season closes Oct. 3; first pitch will be shortly after 2 p.m. CT for every team.

All 81 games at Kauffman Stadium will begin at 10 minutes past the hour.
