Job Title: Senior Client Executive

Job Descriptions
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Research, survey and identification of target markets and their core needs
  • Monitoring market trends and competition, while ensuring that roles within the team are functional and optimizing their approach/plans towards the achievement of set organisational goals.
  • Implementing the business plan and developing client sales strategies
  • Carrying out tactical and strategic marketing plans, product development, customer support and budgeting
  • Ensuring effective communication with clients with a primary focus on increasing market share and revenue
  • Monitoring company’s performance against agreed business target
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of bids/proposals to prospective clients
  • Providing regular feedback to management on market trends and competitions activities
  • Managing day-to-day sales relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Maintaining professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Identifying collaboration opportunities to achieve business goals; Negotiating and closing key business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Once deals are made, begin execution and follow-through to conclusion.
  • Continue to deepen relationships with external partners through creative, out-of-the-box solutions to achieve key business goals in a cost-effective manner.
  • Attending industry functions and conferences, representing the brand and collating feedback; where and when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing from a leading university; MBA a plus
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing/ Media & Advertising
  • Articulate, critical thinking, excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to translate market trends, user feedback and data etc. into business insights
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office package
  • Humble, flexible and proactive personality with a result-driven mind-set.
  • Capacity to manage a dynamic environment with a lot of drive, to define and take actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in running an operation with cross-functional responsibilities in a fast-moving industry.
  • Team player with proven people management.
  • Strong knowledge of the local Nigerian market and business landscape.
  • Gained work experience in high-performance environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and goals
  • Passionate about MARKETING and has deep interest in developing businesses and marketing strategies.
  • Open to frequent local/ international travel.
  • Membership of APCON is an advantage
  • Should be available to resume work
  • Not older than 30 years as at application date.
