FOX Sports North announces 2021 Twins spring training broadcast schedule

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – FOX Sports North and the Minnesota Twins announced the spring training broadcast schedule for the 2021 season on Tuesday.

More Timberwolves coverage

FOX Sports North (rebranding as Bally Sports North in the coming months) will televise 13 games, 10 of which are original productions and home games from Hammond Stadium. Coverage begins March 3 at 12 p.m. when the Twins take on the Boston Red Sox.

The television broadcasts will feature a mixture of play-by-play and analysis from TIBN radio broadcasters Cory Provus, Dan Gladden and Kris Atteberry, plus FOX Sports North crews consisting of play-by-play voice Dick Bremer alongside Twins alumni LaTroy Hawkins and, for the first time, Twins Hall of Famer Johan Santana.

Bremer and Hawkins will call the Twins’ night game March 20 against the defending American League champion Tampa Bay Rays, while Santana will make his broadcast debut in a three-man booth for the Twins’ 5 p.m. contest vs. the Atlanta Braves on March 26. Santana, the only two-time Cy Young Award winner in club history and part of four division-winning Twins teams, will be back on the mic alongside Bremer for the March 27 tilt against the Rays.
