We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of property’s facilities and utilities
- Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Ensuring the building is maintained, improved, and managed, and that vendor partnerships are managed.
- Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
- Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies according to HSE standards.
- Manage budget plans for maintenance, perform analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
- 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards and other environmental regulations
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
- Project Management, excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package i.e. Excel & MS- Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
