FOX Sports Sun to televise 13 Tampa Bay Rays spring training games

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2021) – FOX Sports Sun (rebranding as Bally Sports Sun in the coming weeks) announced today the network will televise 13 Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training games throughout March. The 13-game slate will provide fans with their first look at the reigning American League Champion Rays as they prepare for Opening Day. Statewide television coverage begins Wednesday, March 3 at 1 p.m. when the Rays host the Pittsburgh Pirates at Charlotte Sports Park.

The 13-game broadcast schedule will feature a mix of play-by-play by Dewayne Staats, analysis by Brian Anderson and reporting by Tricia Whitaker. Three games vs. the Minnesota Twins will feature coverage courtesy of FOX Sports North, while the Rays game vs. the Boston Red Sox on March 15 will air on FOX Sports Florida.

Every Rays Spring Training game airing on FOX Sports Sun is also available on FOX Sports GO, the live streaming platform that showcases all of the Sinclair Regional Sports Networks’ events and studio programming through pay-TV providers, and FOXSportsGO.com.
