Strongmas Automobile was established as a company limited by shares for the supply of cars, automotive spare parts, services and maintenance among others.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance and Admin Lead
Location: Ajah, Lagos
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Establish / implement development plan for the Accounting Lead including training / development interventions. Provide the General Manager (GM) similar inputs applicable to the Finance Staff
- In collaboration with the GM, supervise workload allocation, aligned with individual development plans and internal controls
- Administer performance evaluation, approval of leaves, rewards and recognition
- Supervise recording of transactions, directly involved in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and ICTSI policies
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements
- Ensure adequate internal controls. Coordinate internal/external audit engagements and address audit findings
- Report financial results to the management and the BOD as needed
- Oversee the legal, insurance, treasury functions and overall financial operations of the Company
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company risk profile
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Ensure that its financial activities and results are in compliance with the financing covenants of APBS, ICTSI and its Shareholders.
- Work with the management in monitoring and implementing of strategic business plans related to Finance
- Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic business plans
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Experience in end-to- end (AP, AR, GL, & Reconciliation) various financial positions, with at least 1-3 years’ experience capacity
- CPA required
- Strong knowledge of accounting rules and business controls
- Experience in BPO/SSC industry is desirable
- Coordinating and providing guidance to teams and/or individuals working in shared services organisation
- Able to demonstrate initiative in building teams and supportive working environment
- Relevant experience in Stakeholder management
