Eight different batters stuffed the stat-sheet to help the club bounce back from Thursday’s 5-1 defeat to Cleveland.

First baseman Daniel Vogelbach provided consistency from the number two spot, getting on base in all three of his at-bats. Infielder Orlando Arcia added two hits on three looks, and three total bases.

Milwaukee’s offense certainly wasn’t the only source of excitement.

Brewers starter Corbin Burnes pitched for the second time this spring and rocked the Rockies, striking out five in two innings pitched, upping his Cactus League total to seven in three quick innings of work.

Seven other pitchers combined to allow just four hits and three runs in nine innings of action.

Milwaukee next plays on Saturday versus its biggest rival Chicago at 2:10 p.m. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Wisconsin.
