Berrios shines in Twins’ 6-2 win over Tampa Bay
Jose Berrios pitched three innings of scoreless ball, and the Minnesota Twins topped Tampa Bay 6-2 in an eight-inning exhibition Wednesday.

Getting the start on the bump, Berrios allowed just one hit and no runs over three innings. He walked one hitter and whiffed four.
It was Berrios’ second appearance of spring training. In five innings of work, Berrios has yet to allow a run while tallying seven strikeouts and one walk.
Willians Astudillo was the brightest star at the plate for Minnesota on Wednesday, collecting two hits, one walk and two RBI in four plate appearances. With the Twins leading 4-2 in the seventh inning and the bases loaded, Astudillo knocked a base hit into center field to score two runs.
Minnesota returns to the field at 12 p.m. Thursday for a clash against the Boston Red Sox. The game will be televised on FOX Sports North.
