Royals reassign Skoglund, option Tillo, Zerpa
The Kansas City Royals inched closer to their Opening Day roster with three assignments Saturday.
The Royals optioned pitchers Daniel Tillo and Angel Zerpa and reassigned pitcher Eric Skoglund to minor league camp.
The moves leave 45 players, including 13 non-roster invitees, in major league camp.
