Job Profile

Testing forms an integral part of the Software Development Life Cycle for improving the consistency and performance of the software.
Testing stages have a lot of significance in the software development life cycle as it is having a great part in executing and fault rectification. This involves an analysis of software and systems to avert risk and prevent issues.
As a Software Test Engineer, you are involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment.

Core Responsibilities

Review of software requirements for validity and feasibility
Collaborate with Software Developers to develop effective strategies and testplans
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle.
Respond to the Client’s tickets.
