Brewers rough up Buehler, beat Dodgers 9-6

The Milwaukee Brewers lit up the Los Angeles Dodgers and their starting pitcher Walker Buehler in a 9-6 win on Tuesday.

After Los Angeles’ Justin Turner hit a two-run bomb in the first inning, Milwaukee countered in the bottom half of the frame with solo shots from Keston Hiura, Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez.

The Brewers weren’t finished. Kolten Wong added an RBI single in the second inning followed by a two-run homer from Hiura.

Billy McKinney and Luis Urias each hit RBI doubles in the fifth for Milwaukee. The Dodgers added four more runs in the ninth inning.

Buehler pitched 4 2/3 innings and gave up 10 hits, four home runs and nine earned runs.

Brewers starter Corbin Burnes also went 4 2/3 innings but recorded six strikeouts, three hits, two walks and two earned runs.

Milwaukee is back in action on Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. against the Colorado Rockies.
