Bally Sports Arizona announces Arizona Diamondbacks 2021 regular season schedule
PHOENIX – Bally Sports Arizona (rebranding from FOX Sports Arizona), home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, today announced it will televise 161 of the team’s 162 regular season games in 2021. All games not airing exclusively on a national platform will air on the all-new Bally Sports Arizona regional network starting with Opening Day coverage on April 1 when the D-backs visit the San Diego Padres.
Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly return for the ninth season as the D-backs television announcing team. Once again joining them on the network’s “D-backs Live” pre and postgame shows will be Todd Walsh, Jody Jackson, Mark Grace and Brandon Webb. Opening Day coverage on April 1 will feature a “D-backs Live” pregame show at 12:30 p.m. and the game follows at 1 p.m.
All games will air live on Bally Sports Arizona, unless otherwise noted in the schedule below. Select games will air on Bally Sports Arizona Plus and Bally Sports Arizona Extra in April and May, when the D-backs, Arizona Coyotes and Phoenix Suns all play in the same broadcast window. Channel listings are as follows: Bally Sports Arizona | Bally Sports Arizona Plus | Bally Sports Arizona Extra – available at this time on COX Communication’s “YurView” channel and DIRECTV channel 686-2.
Complementing Opening Day coverage on April 1 – and marking a new era of regional sports – “Bally Sports Big Opening Day” will leverage the Bally Sports regional networks to offer fans across the country for the first time ever with a live, whip-around style MLB Opening Day program. In coordination with Sinclair-owned sister sports platforms, including Tennis Channel and Stadium, the 4.5-hour special will offer fans MLB previews as well as NHL, NBA, and pro-tennis updates and highlights.
