Packers officially sign running back Aaron Jones
Green Bay officially signed running back Aaron Jones to a four-year deal worth $48 million on Friday.

The deal includes a potential out after two years, which would penalize the Packers $6.5 million in dead money if they cut Jones but save them $12.8 million towards the 2023 cap.
A fifth-round pick by the Packers in 2017, Jones has collected 4,421 total yards and 43 touchdowns over his four NFL seasons. He led the NFL with 19 total touchdowns in 2019 and ranked fourth last season with 1,104 rushing yards.
Jamaal Williams, who served as Jones running mate in the backfield for the past four seasons, signed with Detroit in free agency. That means AJ Dillon, a 2020 second-round pick by the Packers, will step in as the backup to Jones in 2021.
