The Brewers scored five runs in the top-half of the third inning, beginning with a two-run shot from Kolten Wong.

Lorenzo Cain proceeded to score via a sacrifice fly off the bat of Avisaíl García. Daniel Vogelbach doubled, driving home Brice Turang and Manny Pina singled to center field.

Milwaukee’s seven-man pitching rotation took care of business against the Rangers — four different players recorded multiple strikeouts.

Lefty Brett Anderson was on the mound the longest, fanning four and allowing two runs in five innings pitched.

The Brewers can now put spring training in their rearview mirror and focus on Thursday’s opening day tilt versus the Minnesota Twins. The game is scheduled to be played at American Family Field at 1:10 p.m. and will be televised by Bally Sports Wisconsin, the same channel and new name of the FOX Sports Wisconsin network.
